Q. What type of training is offered for new agents?
A. Weekly online classes on current Real Estate topics, e-campus training classes via the ERA website, ERA AccelERAtion classes, and more. ERA AccelERAtion teaches marketing, selling, negotiating, closing, presentation skills, ERA product and services knowledge, and information needed to develop a career foundation as an ERA Sales Associate.
Q. How is the training offered? For example:
classroom, online, one-on-one, etc.
A. Learning at ERA United Home Realty comes in a variety of options. We have weekly WebX classes held online, small group coaching sessions, one-one-one mentoring and self-paced learning online via e-campus training.
Q. Does the firm have a designated trainer,
the broker or another experienced agent who acts as a mentor for new agents?
A. Jim Krieger and Margaret Horst, the firm's owner and Raleigh office broker in charge, are the designated trainers for ERA United Home Realty. Jim and Margaret are also nationally certified ERA AccelERAtion teachers.
Q. If part of a franchise, are there local or
regional training sessions for new
agents? If so, who pays for the training?
A. Yes, ERA AccelERAtion teaches marketing, selling, negotiating, closing, presentation skills, ERA product and services knowledge, and information needed to develop a career foundation as an ERA Sales Associate. The agent is responsible for any fees involved.
Q. How many new agents has the firm hired during the past year? How many of those agents are still with the firm?
A. We hired 14 new agents in the last year. Only two agents left, one moved out of the area and one gave birth to a baby.
